Got the strips in and the trim for the window... Need to start on the other side now... Then install the bunks and carpet them... It's getting cozy...

You can see the damage to the counter top on the top of the back splash in the last pic... It about 4" long right next to the extension cord...

The steady progress is great. Have you hit the burnout point yet? Or should I ask, How many times have you hit the burnout point?

I hit little burn out stages and just walk away... I'll usually jump on to another project for a bit... There's a lot of things I have to do to the house and there's the blazer... If you haven't checked out my blazer build, it might interest you... Most of the time I end up in the kitchen cooking, I've always been really into cooking... When I feel like I've neglected a project for to long I'll drink some beers and tinker with it and that will usually jump start it again...

Is that stone?
If so you can get an epoxy mix kit. You can build it up, mix just about any color and add the natural swirls and spots. It can then be sanded and buffed out just like stone.
We used to do that on big counter tops with miters in them. Guys that know what they are doing can make the seam disappear completely, it's amazing.

It was damaged at the store, so I got 20% off...
No it's not stone, partical board and laminate... 10' long, I need 7' for the galley and 30" for the cabinet next to the fridge...

Got the wall behind the head finished up, removed the galley and insulated that wall... Need to cover the insulation with osb then install the galley after it gets some paint on it... It's getting cozy in there...

Got the wall behind the galley sheeted and cut out the counter top for the stove and sink... Started painting the galley tonight with hammered black rustoleum... Gonna glue some of the carpet around the window and to the right of the stove and cut a piece of diamond plate of aluminum for behind the stove on the wall...
