MUCV(Multi-Purpose Utility Command Vehicle)...The Dirtybus...

Trying to... Are you guys camping with us this year??? I'm pretty sure everyone is planning on the same spot we had last year...

I had to buy a new start battery, the 8D took a dump on me... Picked up a semi 950cca at Sam's Club the other day... Gonna grab a couple of golf cart bats from them in a couple weeks for the house batteries... Only $78 for 220 hour 6 volts...

Bus is looking more and more shag worthy. My wife has come to letting me know when she sees a schoolie for sale. Look like I may be spending some time on the road for work, I am thinking trailer but she may be thinking conversion. Will have to show her the updated interior pics. If I may ask any ideas on budget so far, including purchace? Also how has the reliability been any mechanical cost yet?

Keep building.:waytogo:

I was trying to get some better shots today, kinda tough in a tight area... I'll see what I can come up with for some better pics... Money wise, I bought it for $1000 and doubt I've put another grand into it... I had a running total, but haven't updated it in a long time... I actually need to sit down and do that... Mechanically it's been sound, no issues... I ran it out of fuel once and the battery went to crap, but no other problems...

Well, you did miss last years trip Nancy...

We're gonna have a blast this summer, can't wait... We have two more tater guns this year and I might have a few more tricks up my sleeve... Doubt I'll get the zip line going this year, might get the rope ladder for over the river up and running though...

We'll need a bunch of saws to buck rounds for the epic fire... It's gonna be life changing...

You better get chewables for your old chompers... You were there for labor day, not memorial... :haha:

Brian, we are planning on hitting Rim Rock again... The USFS has shut down Naches until June 15, so the traditional Memorial Day Naches trip is a thing of the past... We are just camping... We'll be setting up some wheeling trips for this summer though... I lost a lot of my contacts when I got the new phone, if you still have my number text me your name... It would be cool if you could make it out with the south end blazer guys for some trips this summer...

I'll see what I can do. Where is Rim Rock? I texted you last night.

Any updates? We just got back from an 11 day road trip to Phoenix, AZ in my 1985 Chevy based Sportcoach. We put on 4173 miles at 59 miles per hour. The last day was the the longest run of 839 miles because we wanted to get home.

That guy on America's Got Talent needs punched in the face for that lie... :flipoff7:

Haven't been doing a whole lot lately to the bus... I did put some vinyl on the wall behind the galley...

Trying to trade the Jeep for a '78 Chevy 4x4 short bed... I want another street rig... I'm talking to a couple different people, hoping to strike a deal soon...

Figured I'd throw up some pics of the progress... Just about have everything done as far as the propane, water and electrical systems... Still have a lot of finish work left, but it's come a long way...
