mud and snow

Buy whatever tire suits you for the summer mounths, and then buy tire chains all around. IMHO chains are the only way to get good traction in snow and ice.

Air down in the deep stuff, try to stay on top. These are 44" boggers 8# air and 6' deep snow. Made it up the mtn fine in the morning, 40* on the way down. Fell through the upper crust....:doah:

For wheeling in the deep stuff, I would prob try to stay on top with a wider tire. But I was thinking for street travel and plowing. I've just had better luck with thin and tall.

went into some deep snow today, and although only the rear diff was making tracks, I got stuck on a hill. I need better tires, something with bigger and deeper lugs.....so what do you run priamrily for the SNOW and MUD, and how do they perform secondary on sand, and rock. I'm thinking the bigger the lug the better, and would work well in both Snow and Mud, and probably on Sand too.
KidJethro is right Zim. boggers baby!!
