Mud in engine

yeah i found an 1/8" of mud in my oil pan. can i save my motor? i havn't heard any knocking coming from it. well yeah thanks.


oh yeah its been a long time so HI everyone.
 
are you sure its mud and not water in your oil..... that is the colour of mud and really thick. it gets lumpy and everything. i cant se any to get mud on enging unless you put it in your oil filler tube.
 
oh yeah i take back not hearing any knocking. i'm checkng my bearing this weekend. well if i need a rebuild atleast i can do a 383.
