muffler applications

i am putting a high flow cat (universal 3") and muffler on my 88 jimmy (5.7)
i already bought the cat, and i found a new dynomax muffler real cheap - it seems to be a 3" universal super turbo large (11" x 5") - can i just throw this on my jimmy?does it make a difference which model i get if it will physically fit?

well - thanks for the advice - but i lost the auction anyway - we're all like sharks on these auctions, huh? waiting to gobble up the deals at the last minute - i lost the muffler 30 secs. before auction end - BAH!!!

Go with a gibson mufler, real nice top quality muffler at an affordable price with a nice tone. You can get it in aluminized steel or stainless.
