The loudest ones that I know of are the 2-chambered flowmasters. They are a lot louder than the three chambered ones. I have dual two chamber flowmasters on my k5 and my mom has three chambered flowmasters on her '57 chevy and mine totally drowns hers out. I also have 4" inch chrome tips that really make it louder and they look awesome. I don't want to sell mine but you can gets some just like them at any local performance muffler shop. I can post a pic of them if you want.

"Have you driven over a ford lately?"

The 2 chamber 40 series definately. Loud, and good sounding, the original "Flowmaster" sound that everybody who loves them thinks of.

Why would you want to torture yourself with a quiet muffler? Nothing beats a V8 rumble. BTW, for everyone else, glasspacks are louder than the Flowmasters. But they don't sound as cool.

Chevy good...Ford bad

I ran duel 3inch with a 2 1/2 crossover for 5 years with 3 chamber flowmasters I loved them most of the time, I just changed to 2 in to one keeping the tail pipe and flowmaster on the left side still sounds the same! just does not ring my ears after riding in it for 100 miles or after driving it on trails all day.

I understand the jeep thing I drive a BLAZER!!

I run a 40 series Flow on mine with the factory 3" in and out cat. Single exhaust all the way out 3". Sounds nice, but not REAL loud. I'm super pleased with the way it sounds and am gonna stick with it for a looooong time

I believe the quietest is the 70 series.
