I can't find anything that shows me the exhaust pipe and muffler on a 1974 Blazer...I'm just curious as to what style they were...oval or round...

The ones I sold at parts stores in Walker,Arvin,Maremont brands were all ovals, far as I know the OEM ones were too..but I put glass packs or Walker "Royal Scot" round mufflers on all my trucks (they had the same shells as glass packs but were baffled inside with louvers)--those things lasted 5+ years easily..

My internet is being stupid, but I did check Walker, and see that they don't list the muffler for '74 or '75 K5's. Walker generally sells direct replacement exhaust components, so if they make it, it's probably the OEM design.

Hate to do it, becoming a record, check the link in my signature for the parts catalog that covers '74. The mufflers will be in there. Might have a hard time finding them if the part number was superseded, but once you have the part number, either a google or ebay search with that part number is likely to bring up a number.

The parts catalog will likely have a picture as well, unfortunately the pictures can't always be trusted.
