Mufflers?

I did a search and didn't come up with the answer i'm looking for. I really love the sound of flowmasters but i dont like the price. Anyone know of any mufflers that are compariable with flowmaster sound but doesn't have their price.

Flowmasters are flowmasters... Nothing else sounds like them and they aren't really that expensive. I got my two 40 series flows for $110.

Search ebay, I was able to score my 2 40 series flowmasters for $40 shipped to my door /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

dunno flowmaster sound, never heard em. I'm running Thrush boss turbo mufflers and I think they sound great. Low *chug chug* at idle and the street manners are good enough that Johnny Law will not notice you. Then when you open the 4bbl they howl like a banshee. $20 each through summit I think.

Spend the cash and get the flows, they sound the best. Borla also makes a muffler that is better than a flowmaster. They sound just a little different(not as good IMO) but last longer and flow better. They are more expensive though. I might sell my 2 40 series flows because I kind of want 1 chamber flows instead. Doug thorley try y's, dual 1 chamber flows, 5" tips and no cats with my motor would sound awesome! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
