I guess i need to clarify.

it's not about the money. it was my daughters vehicle and was too tall to fit in the parking garage at school.(besides, a cross country trip would kill her in fuel money) it was our project to do together, but with her on the other side of the country, I don't want to let it sit and rot and would rather it go to someone who would use it. I have my own projects to do. she descided she wanted to sell it which is what makes it so sad. it's more of the "my baby is all grown up" and not being able to do it together that is the rough part for both of us.
I told her that I would sell it for her and send her the money so that she can get a new vehicle at college.

as requested, here are some pictures.
sorry,I didn't wash it before taking them, buy they always look better a little dirty!:D
the reason for the tan leather seats is that i had planned on doing a 2 tone tan and blue paint.
btw, the steering wheel is black mahogany.

BTW, if anyone who is interested would like, I can dye the seats black if you want. I have a guy at work here who does that.

My cousin wants one bad, has 2grand. Dont know if youre willing to go that low or not. I got less than half of what I had in mine:o

Miles? Any leakage or "old age" issues? Oh, and know what the gears are?

196k on the odometer. 26k on the engine rebuild. fresh tranny rebuild ( 2 months old)
the valve covers are seeping very slightly. other than that, nothing.
runs like a top. I drove it 400 miles last weekend.
The only thing that I can think of is that the trip odometer does not reset.
The gears are 3.73

I am even willing to take it to a GM dealership to have them check it out.

You sure the tranny is a 700R4? I have a '91 K5 and it has the 4L60 tranny. Not that it makes much difference though.

Same difference. They called the 700R4 the 4L60 until '93 when the 4L60E came out.

Right! the only difference is one is manual, and one is electronic. also, when I did the rebuild, I used the 4L60E heavy duty clutches.
