I was working on my Blazer and my Freightliner earlier today and it just kinda hit me. Dang, I've got 3 trucks sitting in my driveway, man I feel good.

Not only that but the Dodge and Chevy are paid for and the big truck is about 6months away from being paid off. Something I've worked my a$$ off for for so darn long and it's finally working out in my favor. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Yeah I'm trying to think of how to paint it. I want to keep the white, but I can't think of what kind of design to put over it.

What year is your Century Class? n14? 60 series? C-15? Is that the 70" sleeper?

What year is your dodge and is it a 3/4ton with an ISB? /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Century is 2002, 60 series 500, 70" sleeper. I had 7 of these at one time, but that was a few years back. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

The Dodge is a 3/4tonHD, V10, with all the goodies. I wish I could of got the Cummins, but I got a smokin deal on this one. Paid $7k for it in June. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif 310hp/505lbs torque. Not bad for a stocker.

If you get out to grand junction colorado i know those C120's like the back of my hand...i work at the ftl dealer off of I-70...i believe krennen told me about you while he was here this weekend...

I like Freighliners, but the stupid people who design them still don't put in any cupholder capable of holding a 20 ounce Coke bottle /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

[/ QUOTE ]Nice Truck! I like the Centurys inside and how they ride but they are a PITA to wrench on. The motor is stuffed halfway under the dash because of the short hood. /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif Kind of like the cummins in my dodge. /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

The V10 rocks! They are nice engines but use too much gas. $7K is CHEAP, nice score!

Have you ever tried to remove the valve cover from a 60 series detroit in a century? We have one in the shop now that we had to take out the front left cab mount bolts and jack the body off of the frame a few inches just to get the valve cover off /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

[/ QUOTE ] Thats why we don't own any Centuries. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif We have 5 FLD 120's and they are fairly easy.

IIRC you are supposed to remove the engine hump under the dash, this makes getting the cover and head off easier. But I have never worked on a century though, only 120's, Petes, and cab overs.
