morning ,tipper here, i have just put a 327 in place of the 43 in my 1500 pickup. i built this engine about 12 years ago in another pickup with a carb. i switched the heads and the intake to the 193 casting and the tbi intake . the cam i used when i rebuilt the engine was a sealed power cs274. after i got the engine in and running i unplugged the computor by pass lead and set the timming on 0 degrees and reconnected the lead . the engine boggs like it is running a carb and it picks up and runs great at high idle . if i reset the time and set it to 4 degrees advanced it idles real low and it seems to be holding back at high idle. i have put the correct nozzles in the tbi for a 350 and have the computor for a 350 with a 4l60e tansmission which i have in the truck. could it be that i need to swap out the cam ,i have heard that cams for a computor controled engine was cut different from the old carbed engines . any body have any knowledge of this engine swap. tip

A CS274 cam is a stock replacedment cam for a SBC and it will work fine with TBI.
