My 6.2 just died, won’t start again!

Congrats on getting her running! Seems like you pay attention to what’s going on under the hood. Good on you (y)
@joshuak I’ve only had it for a little over a month but I drive it maybe once a week, week and a half.
There is more fuel in the little filter now, I turned the ignition on after I took the photo and then it’ll be filed between 1/2 and 2/3.
Didn’t know that, thanks for the info. What is a better to use?

My two cents in regards to a leaking OEM filter base.

Either fix what’s there by the finding leak and repairing (sometimes it is the bleeder screw) with jb weld or similar. Or replace with NOS base.

Or two options I’ve taken are:

replace with fuel filter base later model GM screw type filter. Nice because you can retain fuel heater and water in fuel light.

replace with generic filter head and change to spin on fuel filter.

Again, only my two cents. YMMV.

Had an electrical problem with mine after I had it for a while.

The key wouldn't shut the motor down. Had to open the hood and pull the pink fuel solenoid wire off the i.p.

Everyone at work had had new vehicles, they'd look at me like I was nuts

Which I am, so it didn't matter lol

Glad you figured it out. Its a great feeling
