Hey guys,

Been a reader here for some time and some of you guys helped with a little problem I had with my headlight low/hi switch. I was looking for a Blazer pre 75 or other 4x4 rigs, which I won't name.

This Blazer came up for sale literally down the street and only noticed it after a run. I'm new to the whole build up and will surely be asking you guys for your wealth of advice and experience.

She runs just perfect but does need some work in some areas. The guys that had it before me babied it.

Finally can post some pictures after 5 posts

Bert

Norcal I'm not really sure I'm thinking something from the late 70s nonetheless I will be getting rid of them eventually and switching them with some new buckets and hardware.

Build

So I got her back out of the shop after some mods. Soft top conversion, LED markers and signals, HID headlights, New Edelbrock intake manifold.

Build Cont.

Also put some bumpers to keep the hoses from rubbing and damaging them, the person before me didn't care about fastening down the wire so they were just swinging around we ended up fastening down all wires and hoses for offroading purposes, rebuilt front driveline, rear brakes rebuilt and the steering column was taken apart are rebuilt. This was phase one.

1st gens are the sh!t.
Nice truck, interested in your mods!

Yeah we can do that, I know that Rick at Chevy Metal in Vancouver has a get together March 23rd....Not sure my Blazer will be there....may be stripped for paint. Other than that will be hitting Beaches.

Progress

Some more progress Only got one shot of it. I took out the old bucket seats and replaced them with PRP seats and mounts. Upon taking out the seats I found they were mounted on 4x4 wooden blocks and were not mounted to the frame. Got them mounted up with some new seatbelts that are mounted to the rollbar. I also got a tuffy console in and welded that bitch down so tweekers couldn't take it unless they so happened to have a plasma cutter with them.

When I bought it it was cover in carpet so I'll be ripping that out and come to find out the rollbar is mounted to the wood panel in the back. Once out and any rust spots fixed it will be Line-X'ed.

I'm also looking at buying two rigs in my local area to combine all three to make the perfect rig.
