Came with everything you see here. Straight frame, 2 Wheels & tires, 2WD steering box, whole 2wd front suspension, Cab (converted to 81+ cowl), rear doors + 1 extra rear door, Front buckets & console, rear bench seat, 2x 20 gallon fuel tanks. Most if not all of the once minor rust has been repaired.

Edit: The plan is to do a body-swap onto my K10's frame.

Let the fun begin :D:hack::grind::weld::grind::truck: ---->

Sweet, you are gonna build it I would assume. Good starting point. You gonna leave it 2wd or convert it? Wish a $75 rig was in that shape around here. For that kindof money around here you bring a broom and dustpan and have to sweap the rig up and bring it home.

I'm actually going to do a body swap onto my K10's frame/powertrain/drivetrain and chop the bed short.

We desparately need more cab space for the dog, passengers, etc.

Those pictures of a crewcab cost you $75? You got ripped off man!:haha: :haha: :haha: Just kidding. Look at those gas tanks. and it looks like it has a body lift.

Building your idea of what an Avalanche would have looked like had it been built during the 73-87 era? Pretty cool I think. Like others have said, you practically stole it for $75! Nice find!

i seen the cab on ebay, was a great deal on just the cab. though about bidding on it, but the drive out there is WAY too long.

good score :waytogo:

nice score.. i found a 89 crew cab complete... 4x4 cab with hydro master cylinder..... when I say complete.. you could drop it on and go.... $300 but im not going to buy it till next summer....

get some pics that is gonna look cool... I am going to put the crew cab on my frame... myself, wife and son fit in the truck now.. but addition of a new baby makes needs for more room... and buying a sub or a already 4 door is no fun:haha:

That's right... built not bought :D

The reson I'm swapping bodies onto my K10 and not building up the crew cab is that I want to keep my short wheel base without having to do a complete from-the-frame-up rebuild. I don't want/need a trail truck with 14' of wheelbase, but I sure would like to have 4 passengers, or not have my dog having to sit on top of my shifter

Good luck with your project ... I know I'll need it with mine :)
