well thought id show you guys some pics of my ride. and what it is.
1977 Chevy K5 Cheyenne Blazer
350 4 bolt main engine(stock bore and stroke with maybe 6000 miles on it)
882 heads
Edelbrock Torker II intake
Holley 670 Truck Avenger carb
Melling #MTC1 Stage 2 Torque cam 204/214 dur @ 50 .420 .443 lift
Flowtech Headers
Cloyes Double roller timing set
brand new Ford Windstar electric fans with temp control
350 Turbo tranny(6000 miles on it maybe)
33x12.50x15 Hankook DynaPro M/T's(6000 miles)
NP203 transfer case
10 bolt front and 12 bolt rear with 3.08 gears

has some rust on the floors, rockers, and rear qtrs but not that bad nothing some time with the welder cant fix. now i just need to get my welder back let my buddy borrow it to work on his ride. current plans is to tune the carb. me and the wife worked on sanding down the floors of the blazer today. have some eastwood rust encapsulator paint that i put on the rusty spots. and then i'm planning on spraying bedliner on the floors once i decide on a brand. then frame slider and alittle fender trimming.

heres the pics when i got it.

You do know that the trim you removed is unique to that year. It is the only year that I am aware of that had the yellow stripe. You may want to put it up for sale and recover a bit of cash, some of us actually want to restore the trim to our rigs.

yeah i know. some of its in decent shape, some of its bent and bet up. but if anyone near me wants it they can have it for free.

Dude, you just got rid of most of the stuff I liked about that truck:doah: Oh well, you're the owner not me;)

Did you happen to save the Cheyenne emblems from the rear quarters? I'm currently gathering up all the trim to put BACK ON my '77 K5:D

well i fixed the carb issues. but noticed the intake gaskets leaking on the drivers side so gotta change that now. haven't had much time to work on it. but did use it yesterday. we moved the shed from were the po of the house had it to the back of the property.
was using my f150 but couldnt get traction once i got on the slight incline to back it into place.

Wow man, I can't believe you ripped the yellow trim off of a 77' :eek1:

But if you don't need it anymore, I could definitely use it.

Unless it's already spoken for since USSkoval expressed some interest.

yeah i keep hearing that about the trim. i still got it and its just laying in my shed. i personally find it fugly. so off it went. i gotta look at it all the time so didnt want to see that yellow trim. i'm hoping i get some time to work on it on wednesday or thursday. been working on my bug lately so i can get it back up and running so i can drive it instead of my truck to work.
heres some pics of me using the k5 to move my shed around the other day. hoping to order the sheet metal i need for it soon too. need a passenger side outer rocker and rear qtr panel patch panels for the around the wheel wells. and thats the trailer i picked up from a buddy for $1k. 7x18ft, steel floor, dovetail. slide out ramps from the back. we even managed not to dent or scratch anything up when loading and unloading the shed.

Lol, I think it would be more fair for you to have the cheyenne emblems if you want them;) We both have been busy/slow-to-respond, so nothing has really happened yet.

You fellas go through vehicles like I go through socks:haha:
