My 79K10 needs a winch bumper

I've been working on getting the 79 back on the road and it needs a front bumper. I've looked at a bunch of them and cant decide which one.

I was even considering a stock painted (od green) bumper with a Engineered Vintage Behind Bumper Winch Mount. The truck has a ORD 1" body lift so not sure how that would look.

Any suggestions?

Depends what style you want?

I’m running a CFM Industries front bumper and like it since it doesn’t stick out.

Four by Design is awesome if you can weld plus they give you some freedom to make your own.

I built mine. Some 2x4 box tubing, 1/2" strap, winch lies on its back, relocated the solenoid pack. Otherwise I would just buy a CFM or ORD in whatever style I liked.

I have a vintage warn bumper and setup for 8274 . Someone added a home brew brush guard but can be cut off easy .

Ok whatever whick one you use. I watch Stacy David show where he was working on SGT. Rock. He made custom bumper mounts to fit the premade bumper he wanted. Good luck

I ended up going the stock bumper route, painted to match along with the EV Behind Bumper Winch Mount & Shackles. Probably add a custom CUCV inspired style brush guard to complete the look.

I temporarily installed the front bumper to see how it would look with the ORD 1" body lift. The edge of the lower grille panel is just below the top lip of the bumper.
