my 84 4x4 build updated Jan 20/09

Heloo every one. I figured i should let everyone in on the build that i have taken on.

it started off as a 1984 GMC High Seirra.
take note the bumper was put on after i had bought the truck


later on i added a 3" body



then i ran into some issues and felt i needed to go bigger and better. So i planned out swapping in a set of my old 8 lugs with 4.10s. Searched out a SM465 and located a new cab with A/C, P/L, and P/W's.

and so far thats how she is. will have it running with in the next 2 weeks.

Good work, I wish I would get off my a$$ and work on my 82 K30. Hell, all I have to do is take a motor out of a donor Blazer I have and drop it into the K30. The K30 is already completley rebuilt,(frame off), and painted minus the motor.

i've been working on this since feb of this year... and i JUST got to that point on sunday... so its a very slow build. same goes with my ss... i have not touched it since feb of this year and thier still so much to do before it even runs

Tires are a 38x15 super swamper

wheel's
15x12 white steelies

Right now she's in the college here for a motor build. I'm in my 2nd year AST course.

slight build
1406 carb
1701 intake
rv cam
flat tops.

nothing all to pressing for performance to be honest

yeah thats what im thinking becasue really all that i need to paint then is the doors and the cab to make it match and it would be cheaper then doign a flat black all around.
