so im new here and i fiqured i would start a build thread for my 85 k5 blazer. havent done to much to it but now that ive landed a new job ill be able to do what i want to with it. the pic is old but its the only one i have on my phone. as it sits right now. it has a 4 inch suspension lift, 3 inch body lift, 35 1250 17s on 17x9 dick cepek dc2's. ive blacked out the grille, tinted the lights behind the grille, tinted the side marker lights on the fender. painted the mirrors black. added a sunpro tach and a volt,temp and oil pressure guage. oh and itsgot one hell of a stereo in it.

plans consist of 1 ton axles. gonna build front and rear bumpers for it. probably 38s. fab up some rock sliders. do a whole lot of trimming front and rear. possibly a big block or a turbo small block. swap from an auto to a manual trans.

No pics of the stereo at the moment. Will try to get some posted but heres some details on it. Its got 2 12 inch memphis audio subs with a 1000 watt sony amp, and for regular speakers im running 2 6 inxh rockford fosgates and 2 6x9 rockford fosgates running through a 350 watt amp. Also has a kenwood deck
 
Not as clean as it looks but thanks. Its got a little bit of rust in it. Mainly the driverside rocker. Im basically gonna trim out the rest of the rust on it

Its got some rust but its deff not as bad as some of them ive seen around here. Only spot of rust thats bad is the drivers side rocker. Its shot on the inside. Can stick my hand thru it. But ill fix that this summer. Other than that only other rust is behind the rear wheels and im cutting it out to build my bumpers this year

I liked your plans till i heard lots of fender trimming and it might not be yellow for long.... Good looking blazer though!

Not a whole lot. Gonna cut the bottoms off the front of the front fenders and the lower quarters on the rear. Cause im gonna make wrap around tube bumpers for it to protect the fenders. And on the paint ive just been thinking about it. I like the yellow but it stands out where i live and gets alot of unwanted attention. Kinda thinking black or blue. Or possibly black and monster green. Im a big monster freak
 
Theres a sick s10 rig that goes to our dunes that runs drags all day with black and monster stuff all over. Its mean. Ill find a pic sometime

Sweet. My very first rig was a 96 cherokee that was black and green. Nicknamed it the monster.
