My Bazer won\'t turn off!!!! Help!!!

Finally got all the lights working on my 75 k5 but for some reason when I turn the key off, the truck keeps running... It's pretty scary not being able to turn off my truck, anybody ever see the movie maximum overdrive? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Does it actually just keep running or does it sputter and sputte then die...

Can you pull some fuses or disconect the electic to the coil?
Sound like you have a bad ingintion switch or a sort in the wire to the ignition switch that is keeping the power to the run curcuit. Oh....and are you out of gas yet?

Had the same problem Monday and I tried replacing the switc. What I ended up doing was cleaning the connectors going to the starter and it fixed everything. Now all I have to do is to rewire the starter. Remember to start where all of the power is coming from then work your way back. /forums/images/icons/confused.gif
