man thats just what i wanted to see...i plan on buiding a flatbed for my tow rig...did you buy all the steel..how much you got in it...can you get some better pics of the bottom and the floor what you built..

to me beds like that always look better closed in, so putting decking everywhere would make it look better, I think. Also, even though it may be hard to do with the square you are using, a bar that would follow the cab down the sides would look nice.

Other than that good work. It looks really nice, strangly enough I like the rec. square tube on a flat bed lots more than round

yea i am going to close it in it has expanded metal in the floor,i have a 92 long bed silverado bed i am going to get the floor out of,i made the bed for my buddys truck in the back ground and he decided to use the bed that was on my truck. so i added the sides and all.

the bars following the cab are on my list

i did not pay for the metal it probably isnt the strongest stuff, it is off of a ladder rack and a trailer, it is 1/8" thick 2x2 square

any one know where i could get nice cheap rear bumper or some pics of an easy to make bumper that would look nice with the bed thanks for the comments
