My Blazer is gone... Fire BAAAD!!! - ***UPDATED*** with parts info

Pete, Nope, I've lived here all my life... just recently bought a house.. if last year is considered recently...

As for the trail of gas, and damage, the trail didn't light, I just happened to see a line of liquid on the ground and smelled gas... so I put 2 and 2 together...

There's another member that just moved here that has a K5 and located in the Waterloo/Watertown area. He had a post a couple months back wondering about where to 'wheel. I live in Prairie du Sac, and haven't found anyplace to go around this part of the state.

So, I take it you will rebuild? If so keep us posted on the progress!!!!
Pete.

Pete, that was me... I was working in Watertown, and live in Waterloo... but I moved here a year ago, and got the truck 6 months ago... Now I know where to wheel, but have no truck... =(

I'm working on fundraising money to purchase a new body and another truck... I need to get about $1200.00 to get the tub and truck and get them back home... I'll drive the second truck while rebuilding the 86, then sell the second truck to equalize my payment a bit...

I need ideas for fundraising... I was thinking about getting t-shirts done with a picture of my truck "before and after" with the before being the burned pic, and the after being the way it used to look...

I have a parts truck if interested, see pics that I had handy below.

It is a 87 2wd, had a 350tbi in it, all of the wire is good and there, used pas door, but I have one to replace it, also missing the grill. Cab is also in good shape

Right now all I am using it for is a storage unit

Any interest let me know

I also have a stearing box, pump and a hole parts room that you can go shopping in ;)

Thanks guys, I'm going to stick witht he Carburator until I can afford a Camaro Fuel Injection system... Don't worry I will have full coverage insurance on it after I finish it this time...

I don't know if this steering box would work for you. I am gonna take mine off my 87 one ton. You can have the pump, lines, and box. Not sure the condition. It doesn't have a pitman arm. It's yours if you can pay the shipping. Either reply or PM me. Thanks. Brenton.

I'll be getting back to you on this Brenton, I have to see what I can salvage locally first... thanks for offering.

Scoville Units

I got some stuff in my cupboard at home that is 1.5 million scoville units. it's called Da Bomb final answer...and from what I understand it is considered only the second hotest stuff on the market (retailing at 40 dollars for a 2 oz bottle). The award for THE hottest goes to a product known as The Source which rates at 7 million scoville units (retailing for 130 dollars for a 2 oz bottle). Either way anything over 1000 will be more than enough for me. I saw these in a shop in Leavenworth WA on one of my many trips to Wenatchee. Just thought I would let you know in case you were in search of something that is even more mind blowing.

Gambit, thanks for the offer, but I'm probably going to go with an Edelbrock Performer again until I can come up with the cash for the Fuel Injection parts... The performer takes both square and spread bore carbs, since I don't know what carb I'm getting yet, that seems like the best option...

Front clip

If you're interested, and if it'd work, since Dad got the mint California '75 he's parting out the '73. The front clip is rust-free (newer fenders and original hood, that of course is the one part that never rusts on them).
Let me know. He's in Northern WI.
