My bobbed Suburban hatchback build.

Roof rack pictures.

The "fastback" aluminum cap actually hinges off the roof rack too.

Rack and Cap pics.

Didn't take any pics of the process of building the cap or installing the Lexan windows. It was a weekend marathon for me to complete.

Tire carrier.

This was an interesting challenge!!!
I wanted to come up with something Original but very functional.
Swing out or swings out and drops down for easy removal and tire swaps.
Also carries a 5 gallon can in the "basket area", water or fuel.

Wow!

That is the most interesting build I've seen in awhile, the bobbed look with the working cap looks stock. Great build, very cool looking truck!!!

Wow, love your vision and ability to create it!

Your Burb and this...

Love this soo much! After the bob, Have you gone places that you couldnt have gone before? All the trails around here are to tight for me now. I need to do this to shorten mine up. Even then, I dont know If I can make the super tight turns.

Yes Jeff it did make a difference.
For me the bob made climbs much easier.
Have not had a hang up on the rear bumper since the bob.
The crossover steering and Ram assist made a big difference in the turns.

Tight trails in the bush--- a chainsaw?? Just a thought. Lol
