Got tired of stock bumper. and stock with a pushbar.
So i made my own... from the pushbar i hated. =]

I cut out the smaller tubing and replaced it with 3" 3/16 walled tubing.
the smaller stuff on bottom is 1 3/4 inch 3/16 walled tubing. Its a stout mofo and probably weighs in around 120 lbs.

The center is still be worked on, its getting a skid plate down to the frame rails to hide the ugly cross member and other stuff.

Let me know what you guys think!

Looks good, you did a very nice job. I think bumper built on / to the truck is better than a cookie cutter one.

looks good
gotta ditch the fender fangs for sure now IMO :)
cap off the ends too unless you like yodeling through the pipe hehe

looks good. A lot like those Ranch Hand bumpers everyone in Texas has. I got one on the front of my dodge and would like to get one or make one for the rear.

actually I'm sectioning the fangs. I'm going to cut about three inches out and weld the bottom piece back on so it still looks stock. I hate hacked body panels.

I put them right up there with windshield visors.....:haha:

I'm not sure what he's talking about.
like those big ass ones on all the king ranch f250's?

thanks for all the positive feedback guys.

I'll have a rear one going soon. Should I go with a tube design to match the front or go with a boxier look?
either way it will have a fold down tire carrier. The basket type minus the whole stinger thing. I want the tubing to be even with the top of the tire.

That bumper is 10,000 times better than some of the other home built abominations I've see on here. :eek1:

Nice work.

Can we get some closer shots, perddy please?

Like a head-on, and a side shot....
Or, better yet, some measurements?

Thanks in advance.
:D
