my burb build thread..

Love the bumper, very original. That burb's getting bigger and badder all the time. Good job loosing the lower door moulding too, looks good. I know from experience that stuff can be a burger to get off. :wink1:

yeah the truck actually has 7 in the front and 5 in the rear right now so it has the saggy butt..it will be getting 6 this week...i will be re doing the rear...it has 5 inch blocks now that will come out....will be replaced with a ord shackle flip,zero rate and 7 inch shackles...should give 5 1/2 to 6...all sitting in my living room right now..
 
well i tried to get some stuff done today but didnt get a lot done...guess it was one of thoose days...i got some new pics though...

well the burb is gonna go on hold for a lil while...its time for me to start working on my tow rig...i will be building the ultimate tow rig (in my opinion)on the cheap and will have a build in the towing section so come over and check it out in the next couple days...man its hard having two build but it will be worth it in the end!!!

Thanks for the pic of the sliced D-shaft, now I have a lot more faith in it; what is that 3/16 wall?
 
It might just be me or the photo is misleading, but I think you were better off switching those hangers side to side to get the mount urther to the rear, and get a better shackle angle. Although your spring is pretty flat so I don't think i will go any longer so you'll be fine.
