My CB mount (pics)

Well i got tired of having my CB sit on the floor in front of the heater and i didnt want to have it hanging from the roof.. nor did i want to use the brackets that came with it.. sooo YES my cig lighter/change holder that it was worked perfectly, i just cut out the sides. slaped some velcro in it, screwed a lil tab to hold it up now and it works awesome!

Looks good and seems to fit that spot just right

All my radios are to big to fit there so I mount mine lower.. I have seen a lot of them velcroed to the dash but the sun is not good on them after a while..

I used too hace a 78 C30 crew cab duelie with a Kenwood EQ mounted in the factory ash tray. Pretty cool, flip door up and it was out of sight.
