Mothing really new . Can't get it in the garage yet .

But I scored some more parts .

I got a nice divorced choke Q-Jet to build off of 78suburban :woot:

Thats the direction I am going with it , good streetable power , with some manners . The holley I built was fine , but I don't like playing with those anymore . I can understand the q-jet now , and its cool to toy with :thumb:

Its sitting on a shelf . Its just a q-jet that needs some TLC . Theres a pic in his suburban thread a week or two back . Its that carb :thumb:

I've always prefered the Holley design for cars. More options for after market intake manifolds.
 
True , but I got the patience for these . Holleys are just too easy for me now . I have a 600 cfrm manual choke I won't be using now . Great carb , finish is just faded . Rebuilt it myself when the car was my stepfathers . Had to use a bowl off another holley to repair a leaky plug ( 4160 rear bowl ) .
