well, i replaced the kingpin bushings/spring retainers/and springs and i added a 1/2in fender washer and badda boom!!!! no more death wobble. the tires roll perfectly strait at all speeds(stick head out window test) but now anything over about 30 or 40 and it feels like it's gonna bouce you out of your seat. i did just get a brand new CV driveshaft made/balanced, so i don't think that's it. im gonna check my driveshaft/axle angles tomm to make sure it's pointed a bit down.

it's not just under acceleration, under coasting too...which makes me think it's a tire out of round...but they all look perfect when my buddy drives next to me. what could this be???? it's hard to tell if it's the front or back, but it does it like HELL!!!!

oh yeah, each tire has 14oz of airsoft pellets in them. and don't say it's the bias tires, b/c i've owned a few sets and none did this like that. this is even after driving like 10miles(warmed up) so there are no flatspots. thanks ya'll

Sounds like fun. You should sell tickets!

Sorry man, all I got is: bad shock(s), wheel not on right or out of round (but your buddy should see that).

I know you are running 39.5's but what rim size? if its not a 16.5 then jack up the truck and let all the air out of the tires. just remove the valve cores and walk away and have a beer.

now reinflate them. sounds dumb but if one of them is not fully seated on the rim this will help.

also I would run them at realy low pressure(single digits if possible) and take a slow cruise around the block. swampers are not known for being round or soft when they are new. like a pair of new shoes you need to break them in a little.

ok guys, i will try that. im running 15psi in each right now, and they're on a 15in rim.

oh yeah, the shocks are brand new also.

thanks guys

well, now im leaning towards the rear driveline. COULD that cause this??? even when im coasting(not on the skinny pedal)???? im thinking it's not engaging enough into the slip yoke(rear of x-case). it has about 3-4inches till it bottoms out, so im geussing that only about 2inches or so are engaged. this is a CV shaft if it matters. could this casue this crazy crazy hop feeling???? i've pretty much ruled out the tires, but im going to swap them front to back to see what that does anyways.

x2 i love the look of tsls but after 1 set i went to boggers....and belive or not they ride much better...i hate the ride of tsls...

ill give that a go. im hopeing that's what it is. because im pretty much broke right now thanks to my 350dollar rear CV shaft. but atleast i can drive to work i guess. just gotta work out the bugs right now. haha

DO you ahve a set of rollers? just run aroudn the block in those and see what happens...should be fun too...:haha: :D
