The H-Pipe and 50series Flowmasters....mellow at low RPMs but makes noise when ya RRAAAATTTTTT the engine :D

Hangers + H-pipe = the stiffist exhaust I have ever had. I can grab any part of my exhaust and wiggle my whole rig! solid :D

The hook they added to keep my E-brake cable from rubbin:

And outward we go...shackel is clear & the tire ( I told this guy function before beauty)

And the exit..between my hitch/rear rock bashing point and the tank skid I should beable to clear it every time.

Blub...Blub...Blub Blub..Blub...Blub........BRWWWAAAAAAAAAAPPP!!!! :cool1:

Very nice my brother. You don't really mean SOLID though do you? If the entire exhaust is rigidly mounted you are going to force it to crack somewhere as the engine twists in it's mounts, and as the frame twists when you're wheeling.

I saw a couple hangers that had small rubber mounts in them in your pics, but was wondering if the guy installed any of that braided flex pipe near the headers?? I'm thinking about using those next time I re-do my exhaust..

Not that solid, it doesn't wiggle like most setups I have had in the past.
All the mounts have the rubber bushings. My engine mounts are ORDs and my 454 does not move at all. It rocks the whole truck when you rap the throttle.
I hear ya about flex and stuff and no just regular pipe thru the whole setup. Time will tell I supose :D Heck if I bust it then I know something different needs to be used :D hehehhee

Put the hood on :D

I have one small oil leak fron the oil cooler line.
Oh and I have to tear apart my heater controls so I can stuff the FI computer up in there...but all the other stuff is working and my K5 is basicaly back on the road/trail. I leave Friday morning for Pismo...Maiden Voyage witht eh Diesel and K5 in tow :D

Thanks YJ, Pismo will be perfect for the first run w/ the 454. I can go slow or fast and pleanty of wheel spinning. I only have about 10miles on the engine so I have to keep that in mind and not throttle too much all at once :D :D
Snap some pics of you exhaust when you get it back :cool1:
