My experience with Northwest Metal Products 43 gallon tank, plus a poll!

how much did you pay for that thing? The 45 gallon tank for my Burb says $500 some bucks!! And in my experience, I HATE HATE HATE HATE Fed Ex. Guess its just in my area but UPS is always fast, easy, and never had a single problem. Fed Ex is always slow, will never leave the package for me(I'm never home to recieve it) and they lost the first lift kit I bought back in the day... Swanson52 claimed they wouldn't refund it and blah blah blah, still now certain he ever even sent the damn thing though.

With shipping $495. As I described above, UPS beat it like a Samsonite in a gorilla cage. FedEx took good care of it but NWMP boxed it up the second time. I have to run to the store and get me some rubber to put under the straps and the frame tabs then it will go the rest of the way in today.

nice stuff that will keep you on the trail all day

what gauge is the tank out of? /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

43 gallon tank....

2 dollars a gallon...
thats... 86 dollars for a fill up! YOUCH!

Makes no difference I suppose, at least you can go to the place where you'll save a few cents on gas. A few cents x 40 gallons is a few bucks!

At least I'm not stashing that extra 10 gallons in the back of the rig and smelling it for the whole trip.... /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
