Dont know if this belongs in the garage or the lounge :dunno:

Like most of us, I have an addiction. To GM trucks. And what a great addiction to have! So any way, yesterday i had to mow the lawn and it was the first time i had to move FIVE VEHICLES to do it! So, I figured i should document all my prettys while i had them all out.

I have,

77 Chevy pickup half ton 2wd
78 GMC Pickup 3/4 ton 4X4
79 Chevy Blazer.
90 Chevy Suburban 3/4 ton 4x4.
and the bastard child, an 08 VW Jetta.

So here goes on some pics.

90 Chevy Suburban 3/4ton 4x4. Funny thing is this one is my baby. I care about it way way way too much. My dad gave it to me when i was 17 and he ordered it new in 89 making it a 90. Ordered it with a bench front seat because i just turned 3 when he took delivery. Needed to have my car seat up there next to him. Tons and tons of memories in this truck. Yet, for whatever reason, its the one that gets neglected the most and the one that is on a perpetual back burner. I WILL restore it in a few years. Oh and by the way, sense i drive the gmc more then this truck, i swaped the wheels and tires between the two. So it actually should have the aluminum wheels and pro comps on it. And then, i stole the hubs off of it for the blazer! Geesh.

Reminds me of my buddy, he has a 76 puke green silverado that USED to be wicked fast, a 76 K5 painted a brown camo that actually looks decent with no lift running 35's, an 84 K5 primered gray with a completely rust free body and frame running 31's and last but not least a BEAUTIFUL shade of blue with some kind of flaked texture 87 crew cab with an 8" lift running 35's. The lift is done all wrong with just 8" blocks :eek1: but other than that, its nice. It's just a mall crawler.

i think that brown one is cleaner than you give it credit. i did see the rust in your trade thread, but still, the friggin dash isnt cracked.

id like to see that k5 in person. they arent usually quite that nice even around here.

all you need now is a crew cab:D

Yea its clean! It has some kind of isolated water leakage issue i think thats causing the rust there. Cause for the most part the rest of it is damn near perfect! The blazer is pretty nice but in reality its just above average is all. Yea, I want a crew something fierce!

You sound like me:D but I do it with a 50x65 yard:doah:
Current stable of owned by me's...
88 chevy suburban
88 chevy crewcab dually
99 gmc jimmy
72 chevy blazer-- technicaly my kids but not till he hands me a diploma.
and a 2011 camry:whistle:

Its as much awesome as it is a chore!

nice fleet. you need to get a manual trans in one of those.

The 77 has a three on the tree!

doh, didn't even notice the third pedal. i've only ever seen 1 of those around here ever.

Until i got this one, i didnt know they still had them! I thought they quit in 66 actually...

its just wierd that there is a 350 attached to it. my buddy has a 74ish c10 with a 3spd and a 250 i6. which i would expect. he has manual steering and brakes too.

I know its pretty crazy! Its a pretty odd mix. Pretty cool though that it was bought new right down in oregon city. I have the original purchase packet and the original license plate frames from Weiler Chevrolet!

yep. its nice to have the history. i know my k5 was locally bought, but i dont have the history. i got it from the 3rd owner, who lived 2 houses from the second owner, who bought it from a local dealer. but the original owner is a mystery.

how many miles did it take to stop that 3/4 chevy lol

nice fleet man, to bad your burban isnt a 70's model to, you could have all round eyes lol
