1/2 ton status
I went with my friend to grab his FREE 1983 GMC Jimmy. I saw the truck when we first pulled up and I was thinking oooohhhh SH!T No tires,,,,,dents,,,,rusty/rot. All body panels needed to be replaced. But we are up for the task. (I THINK) Well we got his 33" tires on, got it started after like 4 hours. The guy that he got it from said the reverse was gone and it has no braks. Well When we went to first move it the truck had a realy hard time moving. So I checked the fluid BONE DRY so we dumped 3 1/2 Q of fluid in there. The truck moved real fast after that. For the heck of it I said I bet that why reverse didn't work. Well he put it in reverse and that tranny made one hell of a bad sound. But all of the forward gears worked (KINDA). So we drove it 27 miles home with NO brakes. On the way home 1st started to go (Damn 700R4's).
We are putting a Th-350 back with a NEW 320HP 350 (Like mine when it was stock). You guys will see a lot of photos of it in the up coming months.
