My front gears ?

84 K5
12 bolt rear
10 bolt front

I was changing out the diff fluid in the front diff and noticed what appears to be 4.11 gears… see pic. My question is that I have a 12 bolt rear that is 3.73. I always thought that the rear and front should match?
Everything works ok… just wondering if I should be concerned.

If you look a little closer it's 41:11. 41/11 = 3.73

It's all good!

41/11=3.7272727272 3.73 gears, no worries

thats 41:11. 41 divided by 11 = 3.727 there 3.73's looked like 4.11's when i looked at it too at first

Gears always have the tooth count painted or stamped on them.
