My K5 in action

Great video, looks like you had a lot of fun.
Your K5 makes that look easy ;)

Great vid! Great driving as well. Thanks for sharing.

Wish my K5 could do all that.

I saw that you are using 52's are you using a zero rate as well? What steering are you using up front if you dont mind me asking?

I been wondering whos rig that was since I seen the first vid a few weeks ago. Nice setup you got there, how does it do on pavement?

what shocks are those? i need to find a new set and they seem pretty good, but want something a little stiffer for the road, suggestions?

Very nice, what suspension setup are ya running under that beast?!?

no zero rate, one more in. would be nice though. The 52s moved the axle forward but at full tuck and full trimm I sill rub a touch. Steering is hydro assist (I tapped the box and bought the parts from surplus parts) crossover and hi-steer, with tie rod behind the axle.

Someone also asked about street manners? The only day it saw the street was when I drove it home, It does fine on the gravel though roads, if that helps.

As for shocks plain ol comp 9000 up front and comp 3000 out back.

And thanks all for the poss. feedback happy wheeling. :D

Awesome videos, Ryan! You made it through all that without rocksliders. :D

I like how you went through the skinny in a full size

I caught your slow & controlled on youtube a few months ago, favourited both vids. Killer set up. I just painted mine white with orange racing stripes. Anyway glad too see your a CK5'er too.:D

Funny thing, we were just talking about the same front end set up in another thread. Do you have pictures of the tie rod in the rear and how you mounted the hydro?

sorry no pics. the tie rod does come close to my oil pan but Ive flexed and trailed it many times now and no contact. With the ram there is simple tabs on the tie rod and then made a bracket on the tube of the axle housing. about an 1/2 in from the driver side spring pack. I cant seem to put pics on here but if you have email I could send you a drawing???

hope this helps.

PS with no tie rod up front now my diff is even more exposed. I need a diff guard.

cool vid, glad to see you on here! So you said your tires rub at full stuff? where, the firewall? Jus wondering because im running the same suspension and tires :)

i'd like to know where that is! that's my kind of wheelin... but haven't found much of it in oregon.
