This is our boy! His name is Colby, he is 12 for another 6 days. I found him a good deal on this 01 duramax...so he bought it for his first truck. Our kids make money selling their 4H steers that they buy and raise.

12 with a Duramax?

I was lucky to have a 5hp briggs on a Go Kart

Thats pretty badass.

What is the driving age in canadia?

I been driving since I was knee high to a grass hopper :haha:

In our province 15 is when you can get your learners. Not
Sure about Alberta though?

Looks like a solid rig Dean, how many k on it?

In BC you can't get learners until 16. Good on your son. Lots of time to learn how everything on it works before he's old to enough to break it and have to fix it :D

I agree back when I was that age I think the best I had was an early 80s 4 stroke 80cc yamaha :haha:

14 for a learners here, 16 for a license. I'm guessing he'll have that truck wore out from driving around the farm before he gets his actual license...:D

It has 480 thousand klms on it...runs perfect, had the injectors replaced at...Don't know! :dunno:

It was sitting for over a year in my neighbor's field, he was over picking up barley seed from us in the spring when I asked him about the truck, he said the trans was giving him trouble so he parked it. He said he was going to fix it... I told him my 12 year old son would love to fix it up.

He sold it to us for 1000 bucks!! :D We drove it home!

The engine sounds solid, the trans works fine! It has some codes and a lot of klms but We are so happy with it! :thumb:

Colby has been cleaning it for a day and a half...it looks great!

A lot of things to clean up ad fix, but we got lot of time.

You can get a learners at 14 drivers at 16 in Alberta. My kids have been driving since they were 9 years old! :waytogo:
