My lame 1 Ton

Well, i'm kind of short on cash till i pay my taxes so i'm just trying some to get some little stuff done right now. I got my winch motor back, finally! It is a Ramsey winch that i got from a guy for free because it didn't work. I had the motor rebuilt and it is sweeet now :D . What i'd like to know, should I fill the end drum with oil ? and what about the top gear reduction part ? I have some regular old gear oil, or should i get some of that Lucas stuff ? I also need to figure out how to attach it to the frame. If you have any pics of your own stuff, post it up !

kind of been lacking in the working on my truck department. I went out wheeling a week or two ago and sprang a fuel leak between the carb and fuel pump. It's been parked since then. I finished the winch solenoid and switch. I'm working on getting rid of my dual tanks under the bed for a single 31 gal. tank from my jimmy. I'll post more pictures of it tomorrow. Neighbors just hate the sound of angle grinders at 10:00pm

in bed gast tank

I went under the bed first and marked where the support beams go across so I would be cutting inbetween them and help with the support of the weight. Drilled up through the bed and cut the bed out with the trusty angle grinder. I'm not sure if i want it bolted to the frame, our do a spring/bushing setup between the top of the frame and bottom lip of the tank.

Here I have marked and started to cut the bed. The rest along with pictures in the morning!!

Thats a nice rig and I drive past it every time I leave my moms house over on eastridge. :eek1:
