There is a club in Mt. Home Idaho that puts on an event they call Idaho tough truck challenge. Kind of after 4 wheelers top truck but way smaller. This year it got pretty big we had 5 former TTC competitors there so it kind of turned into a big deal. I go there just for fun some of the guys there had more money into their suspensions than I did in my whole rig! Bunch of really nice built rigs and some close to stockers. Really just a good time and a good way to support another club.

Anyway heres some pics

First me on the RTI ramp don't remember my score and I believe its only a 20* ramp but not too bad for stock leaf springs (56s up front and 63s out back)

They had a tow test. Wish I had pic of the sled. Really ingenuis contraption that utilizes an airbag to keep the solid steel bottem off the ground at the start but quickly deflates to put 8000 lbs on the ground. Had to pull it 150 ft. I full pulled double low and floor it didn't place too bad for a small block, beat a couple big blocks.

Then theres the rocks. They set up the rocks with cones and the such this year (before it had just been out of bounds and fastest time wins) I was towards the front so most the rocks were still in the same place, once again didn't win but finished respectable. Lots of folks thought that I placed way higher cause my run was really clean. Tons of fun. This pic doesn't show too many rocks I but there were plenty.

Anyway if you are in or around Boise area bought this time of the year check into coming to watch. Most of the proceeds go to the club who usually donates a bunch to our State 4x4 Association. This year the few who won money donated back to the club to go towards helping a family who had just lost their Dad to a construction accident. Worth cause for sure.

Great event, Great people and a ton of fun

awesome pics !! I used to live in mountain home when dad was in the air force , loved it up there , still have a few friends up there. hopefully I will get to go back one day, if only to visit. :D :D

its great to know they donated the money back. if only everyone saw that.
truck looks great man

I like your rig. Looks like a good time. I Pit crewed for Roger King in the green power wagon at SETTC down in florida which was a good time too. You can see a little but about it in the article in FourWheeler a month or two ago but since Stover was there the article is mostly about how HIS mega titan did and how its so awsome and yada yada yada.

Great looking truck! Have you thought about an exo cage for it?
Thought about it enough to buy the tubing start bending it, cut it off cuz I wanted to paint it, put it back on on decide to change it. Bend some more, cut it off cuz I want to change the sliders to make it easier to attach too. Well thats where I am at right now. I hope to have it on soon though :o

I change my mind too much I guess

Yes the tires are pit bull rockers in the 44" variety I have some H1 rims that I am working to get done too.

Did you meet Rodney who co drove for Toby in the mega titan. That whole group of guys likes to stroke each other for sure. They are pretty awesome just ask them! LOL

Thats the one that can stretch the wheelbase right. Love that rig.

I can't remember if I met him or not but there group was deffinetly stroking eachother.

Yeah its the one with the extendable wheelbase. SHe's heavy but one hell of a rig. We're goin ridin this weekend. I'll try to get some pics.

BTW, search for "elmo hot tub" on youtube ( i can't get on it at work) for a sick video from moab a couple months ago. Make sure you note the highlift jack saving the roll over and the whole steering wheel and column breaking and getting thrown out the door.

Your rig would be better off with an internal cage. Awesome pice BTW! I might have to make it up there next year!

I totally agree, gonna try to get some new seats to lower myself a bit with the factory bench there is just no clearance for my head. I acutally hate the thought of the exo which is why I have put it off for so long. I really need to get some different seats in there so I can figure out if I am going to fit with an internal cage.

I hope you get up here sometime too. So many trails you would dig up here.

Blazinuk - LOVE the truck. my fav pics are the last two. the tow challenge pic, your truck really does remind me of a charging pit bull. the pic on the rocks is calander worthy

Mrdrinksalil - the easy button made me laugh for a good minute.

Crazy thing about the sled pull is last year I did it with my blazer. Way different, its acutally kind of funny to be honest. Hmmm can't find it right now I will have to look later and I will post it up.

Thanks guys for all the compliments on the truck. Its been the look I have been after for years.
