$300 bucks.

Did I do good?

I have been hounding my mechanic for this thing for almost a year now. I finally broke him a couple of weeks ago. I jokingly offered him $200 for it and he laughed so I told him I could probably swindle a little more. About 15 minutes later he asked me how much more I could swindle, I said $300, thinking he would laugh again. Well, he didn't, he just said okay.

It had belonged to a friend of his that broke into his shop and stole a bunch of his tools, computer, car parts. Some friend.

Thanks. Topless, doorless, tailgateless, full cage, atleast a Detroit in the rear. I have a 350 that I'm going to rebuild for it, just need to find a tranny for it. I have an sm465/np205 combo that I'm considering converting it for, but I haven't decided yet.

Basically an all around trail rig that I don't mind dinging or denting up more than my '86.

Sweet! At least you are going all out in the beginning instead of "Ill just trim a little here" route. Good luck and keep us posted, and pictured:D .

Sure no problem. How about if I throw in a low mileage RamJet 502 with it as well?
