OK so another sleepless night :doah: by now I am half insane. I start trolling evil bay and what should appear before my wondering eyes? These puppies with a buy it now on them of $ 20.00 with $15.00 S&H.

He even had the brush guard listed for $150 buy now or best offer http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...o=CRX&its=S%2BI%2BSS&itu=ISS%2BUCI%2BSI&otn=4

Now most shackles sell for $50 to $75 that are listed. Most people do not want to separate them from bumper and brush guard :screwy:. One guy I talked to was like I will sell you the bumper brush guard and them for $200 plus shipping. :doah:

So I now just need to figure out how to cut bumper and where. This means the factory hooks I have (and never installed) will get sold. Hmm wonder about some Dana 60's

I can photo and measure a CUCV bumper for you... pretty sure I still have a set out in the weeds.

They're just a stock 81-87/91 unchromed bumper -- the paintable variety -- with a star embossed in the center of the license plate area, and the two holes.

The rears I know the holes went just outside the frame rails, so the front should be the same. Pull your bumper off, and see where those tubes mount up -- they use some of the stock holes in the frame to the bumper, just with longer bolts.

Thanks any way I could get you to make me a card board template using the bolt holes as set points and going out just past the hole? I will give ya a few bucks for time and mailing.

Eh? Naw, it's simpler than that.

When it's light out manana I'll go see if I've still got the thing and post up pix... it's easy. I cut up my 73-80 front to match 'cuz the 81-up's dont fit so well on the earlier frame horns, and it's basically pop one hole with the drill and then sawzall a square out, simple.
