Well apparently the Canadian Forces use a differently spec'd truck.
I didn't even bother to check them out in person, but the guy seems very knowledgeable and said they are his second pair of axles from a Canadian Forces p/u and they were geared 4.10 with a limited slip in the rear.
He's going to recheck the gearing later today, as he said he'd end up keeping them if he finds out they are 4.56 so he can use the carrier for his 5.13's. If I find out otherwise I'll post. Some good info for Canadians to consider....
I passed on the deal as I'm really not that hyped to get a D60. I do want to go deeper than the 4.10's I've got so I figured all said and done I could come out with a D60, deeper gears and only spend $500 or so after selling my current 14ff, and even better after selling my D44/Electrac.
If he finds out that they ARE infact 4.10's we'll discuss the price on just the D60, but I doubt I'll go for it. That money is my tube doors!
