So I call my 17 year old brother, and he is stuck in my mom's bone stock cherokee.... On private land where he is not supposed to be... No extraction tools... Far far from civilization.... Has three of his retard friends with him. Im not going to even try to go into all of the terrible things he did to my truck while I was deployed, but at least my truck was built... Is it common for 17 year olds to be this dumb? Or is it just my little brother? lol... Also, anyone know any neat tricks to get a bone stock cherokee unstuck from the mud, other than throwing **** under the tires for traction?

um, no. Go drag him out :)

could try his floor mats, how stuck is he? Deep?

Not sure, and unfortunately I am stationed up in Washington, he is about 4 hours from me right now.

Call the police. They'll call a wrecker to get him out. Of course there will be fines and fees involved, but it sounds like he has earned them.

Really? I dont' think he should be encouraged, but you gotta help the little guy out some. Maybe go apologize to the land owner, and help him get out with lighter consequences than the police will give him

He is about a foot deep in mud. I told him to air down the tires and throw his jacket under the tires and try to get out...

Im not gonna call the cops on him for being a retard. I just hope he learns a lesson from this... no mud without lockers. As far as the land... its a hard one... Your not supposed to wheel there, however its an old logging area owned by the logging company, and people have been wheeling there since i was kid, they never seem to really care. I think its more of a liability thing.

Any tread on the tires? Or just highways? Floor mats might help. Make sure hes in 4 hi and not low...... You could suggest rocking, but thats risky....he might fry the trans.

how far are thes guys out? do they have the availability of another vehicle to grab anything like a come along or use as an anchor point? what resources might be available to them?

I just hope he learns a lesson from this...

It sounds like he has had chances to learn a lesson already and didn't. If he isn't in a farmer's crops or somebodies back yard, perhaps the cops are a little harsh. It would sure help the lesson stick though. They might not even come out if the landowner doesn't complain though.

He didnt bring anything with him. Luckily we tracked down a buddy with a jeep who is going to pull him out... I hope the lesson he learns from this is to not go wheeling unprepared, and be more responsible.
