I recently picked up a 86 M1009. Military Blazer, it has a 6" RC spring lift, Mickey Thompson 16" wheels, PJ dirt grips 36 x 14.5 x 16's. winch.

My plans are to put 2.5 ton Rockwell s under it. ( I'm just dying to throw a set under something ) I'm not looking to build the biggest Blazer out there. I'm just looking for enough lift to clear the chunks of the Rockwell's. I'm not sure how to post pics on here? Open to ideas/suggestions. Thanks, Jim

Martin for the win :waytogo: thanks for getting the pics up!

Does it still have the 6.2 in it? And what are your plans for the drive train?

Glad you made it here!!
I've got to get over there and check this thing (and the BIG trucks) out :waytogo:

Still has the 6.2 in it, but something's wrong with it. I'm it sure what. I'm new to the 6.2. I'd like to do some sort of doubler maybe a 203/205. I'm not sure ill need it with the gearing of the Rocks. Thanks, Jim

I Cummins swaps are always fun! To bad finding a 5.9 that isn't completely beat is going to be hard anymore

Tell me about it. A buddy of mine has a 24V he thinks is gold. Only to find out its 282,XXX miles, requires a $1000 pump, and a $500 fuel pump just to be able to run. He doesn't understand why I do not jump on buying the overpriced turd.

It's been a while. I have finally found a p pump, intercooled 4bt that didn't break the bank. I got it for $2650. I also finally got my PATC engine plate/flexplate which was $1200. I've pulled my front clip off and will soon start trying to get the 4bt mounted.
