Well, I'm gonna use this thread as a line of communication since Blazer Bash is so close. (if that's ok with the boss and the mods)

Money's tight now and it is BB gas money...I'll renew the membership when I get back from the Bash.

BIGNICK91 and mtnman, I couldn't read your pm's so just put them in my 30 spline thread in the rocky mountain forum. Just don't post sales, trades or handouts in the garage. Thanks!

Somebody tell Shawn ( supersize75k5 ) that I need a fire extinquisher too. I can't post in his thread.

Covered , see the man in the Tan/white and rather dented like yours WILL SOON BE K5 :D

Can't buy the stabilizer until thursday (that's payday and I have direct deposit).. I barely have enough gas money and some chump change for food to get to Flagstaff. I can stock up on beer and food the next morning :D

Call me crazy but I ain't letting anything get in my way of this trip.

I'm pretty sure Moab has a 4x4 store somewhere, I can walk in and get a stabilizer as soon as I arrive.

that'll work, but we need to drill the hole in the tie rod and get a bolt ready for it, so we can juct throw it on when we get there. You off work yet?????????

:doah: forgot about the drilling the hole part...

I'll be off tomorrow and see you around 10.

Move your draglink out to the front hole and see if your DW goes away. It probably will. The downside is you will loose some turning radius. If the loose of steering isn't to substantial then leave it and call it good. You will also gain steering power by moving it out to the front hole.

I made that sacrifice on mine cause I DD'ed it. I am contemplating hydro assist now and if I do that I will move my draglink back to the rear hole for more steering and set my steering stops.

I also believe not getting 100% turning like it is right now has been one of the reasons for my "low" amount of 10B breakage considering my setup and wheeling terrain. I can't bind the ujoints up as much cause I can't turn the wheels quite as far.

Ummmm, if you can't renew your membership now because it is gas money for BB then when you get back from BB you will have spent your gas money which means you have no money when you get back for membership?.?.?.?:D :doah: :haha:

Just a thought. Please don't take offense to this because I am just curious; and I know it is none of my business but should you really be taking a generally expensive 3-4 day trip when you are down to your last $25? :eek1:

He's had some expensive repairs the last couple weeks, and he is saving everything just in case, easier to have it and not need it, then not have it and need it.

I have one still under Autozone warranty attached to a bent tie-rod . And I may still have the one I got from Big Yellow Jimmy which is really a shock with the clamp thingy added to the end .

Will look before I leave tommorrow :D

Dude if you have death wobble, theres a reason. A stabilizer aint gonna fix it, and on a heavy rig with big tires, it might not even mask the problem.
