Im picking it up tonight and will post pics tomorrow....I've always wanted a fullsize Blazer/Jimmy since high school so its christmas for me! it has a rebuilt 350/700r4 and 4.10's. Costmetically, it needs some TLC. New paint (one day) and some interior work. all power windows and doors switches work, even the back window. the carpet is pulled out already so i was able to see some rust. its in all 4 wheels wells, but the size is no bigger than fist and will be the first thing i tackle. it drives straight, shifts good( in 4lo and hi too) no weird noises, brakes well. the drivetrain is in really good condition for 25 years old. plans right now are simple....replace all fluids/filters and do a good tune up. after that, i will fix some small things and then really dive into it. everyone have a good week and look for pics tomorrow!

gotta see pics !!!!! i like to see all blazers...i have owned my for 4 years and never drove it yet !!!! i bought it with no drivetrain but all almost perfect body .... im pretty sure no one is more amped than me when the first day i drive it will come

so i couldnt wait until the morning....here are some pics. its definetly been neglected. first order of business in the morning is to rip out the interior and clean it out. and to start working on making it all one color. that might take a few days.

a couple things i noticed on the ride back...i have serious death wobble if you put the brakes on too hard.

the steering is looser than i would like and will address that soon too.

the exhaust is true dual with only mufflers and they dump right underneath the backseat. might put in a x pipe and at least extend them towards the back.

i get those things fixed i might actually get it dirty!

Just saw this, glad to see another local guy on the board. :thumb: Looks like the beginning of a good project!
