well... I've come to terms, and the K5 just wont make a good daily driver. Atleast not for me. So I got something a little nicer for the daily commute.... and the every-now-and-then stop light drags.
This thing.. well... after riding in a leaf sprung lifted k5, this thing is so much better on me. It has 4-wheel air ride suspension... although it needs to be serviced, its starting to sag. The K5 was also a Custom Deluxe. I think the only option ordered with it was the SM465... wait.. wasnt that standard?
This car has everything that could be put in a car in the early 90's. Factory 10-Disc JBL/Sony CD Player, Message center that told you trip log, fuel economy, distance till empty, metric conversion, ETA, DTD, distance traveled, onboard compass, and thermometer, 8-some-way power leather seats, power windows, locks, keyless entry, automatic closing trunk, built in car phone, BBS styled (look-alike) wheels, moonroof/sunroof....
I didnt buy it for all the electronics. I love these cars. They fly under the radar of almost everyone, very inconspicous, and have TONS of potential. (If you dont know, its a 1992 Lincoln Mark VII LSC [Lincoln Sport Coupe.. basically the "rich mans mustang"]) It only has 89k miles..
I also got it for this reason...
It may be a Furd product... but atleast its RWD. (I cant say the same for GM's luxury division)
