my new cobra NW29 doesn't recieve/transmit

well, as stated...i went to the battery for power and ground, and it powers up just fine, but for some reason...i can't recieve or transmit no matter what. i thought it was my cb whip on the toolbox, but i grounded that(from mount) down to the frame and it didn't fix anything at all...i tuned it how cobras manual says, and it did nothing. anybody got a clue at all???? thanks guys!

Just a quick question... you do have all the switches and knobs set correctly? It's on "cb" and not "pa"?

yes sir....i have this same radio in my tractor at work, and when i hooked that one up, i plugged it in....and then tuned it according to cobras manual. works perfect, this one on the other hand...not so good. not at all really. haha

can you put this radio in your tractor at work, just to double check it, if it doesnt work then, send it back to cobra and tell em to fix it lol. I dont recall what cobras warranty is, I know with my galaxy its 2yrs

10-4...good call man, im gonna do that tomm and see what happens. im not sure why i didn't think of that. hopefully they have a good warantee system.
