Items in this auction: Four (4) Used Tires per Lot
Tires Manufacturer / Model: Michelin / Military XL (Radial)
Tires Size: 11:00 - 16
Tires Actual Size (Aprox.): Height 38 Width 11
Tires Tread Condition: 75-85% Tread Remaining
Tires Specifications: Load Range E
Max Load Single: 4520 Lbs at 80 PSI

Do you think a DANA 44:doah: can hold up to these if this is my daily driver and sees mostly light trail stuff. I am new to offroading and will most likely do easy stuff and don’t plan on running my stuff to hard. I have a dana 44 and 14ff both with 4.56 and open, powered with a 350/350/205. I plan on putting a Detroit in the rear and prob a truetrac in the front. Do you think that these axles will hold up to the 38s  , they are only 11” wide. I plan on putting in D60, however I can’t find a good one to rebuild for a decent price so until then I will run my ¾ ton drivetrain. Thanks for the input

I personally wouldnt given the weight of military tires. they are much heavier than a standard 38" tire. Never mind the axle itself, your putting alot of stress on things like balljoints, bearings etc. To hold you over till you get a 60 you should be fine.

If you leave it open with those you will eventually have trouble. If you lock the front, you may be in for trouble fast.
