My new half/tube doors

awesome work, i wanna make some for my truck yet everything would be stolen outta it....

Those look really nice. Very original!

verry cool indeed :)

Why do people make these 1/2 tube doors instead of just removing the doors like on a heep?

from what i understand, in pa it's not legal to ride without doors unless it comes from the factory with removable doors/top. something in the inspection book that says you need doors i think. maybe someone else knows...

Supposedly it has something to do with the lip that you see at the bottom of the door opening on a jeep. Most other rigs do not have that and stuff can roll/fall out of the rig and be a hazard.

Yeah, eventually I'll do the back doors, but with having my kids still little, I'm going to wait a few more years until they get a little older then the back doors are going to be done.

nice jeff. her in wa it is that way. the only way is if it came from the factory and the doors are dot approved. not that it has ever stopped me from doing it. :eek1:

I figure if I ever get to the point where my soon to be barn doors get the door treatment, then the roof is going to meet the sawzall also :thumb:

damn dude those turned out nice.. u should start ur own business and sell those! very bad ass!!!

I'm guessing that the careful work and time he put into these, we couldn't afford them if he did. Nice work Muddy

sweet, but i was wondering how strudy they was b4 the tubes? that also looks nice without them. easier to leave shut and climb through.
