ok what you see in the following is my plan for my "senior project" for next year....this was purchased for $250

k5 frame,. 4spd, x-case, f&r shafts, 12b rear, and 44 front, 38x15.5x16.5 tsl rears, and shot 36 grand prix in front. I think i got a good deal...heres the pics...

44 with flat top knuckles?

these are all i got for now...i got a crappy pic of the knuckles.

one question, are R&P for 44 and 10 bolts interchangeable? dumn question but thought id ask...

i think the ring is bigger on the 44, not by much though

10b/d44 ring & pinion do not interchange. as far as the parts, everything is correct, except we can't tell if the d44 has flat tops from the picture. It should if it is '76 or older. the middle body mounts tell me the frame is '78 at the newest, so its likely to have flat tops, but not guaranteed. take a picture of the passenger knuckle.
