A buddy of mine picked this up in Albuquerque last weekend. I reminded him that

Jeep </font> = J ust E mpty E very P ocket.

He was not scared and bought it anyway.

Looks like he'll be needing my help this summer.

Be a good freind tell him he needs to give you about $5000 and all he has to do is go to work for you for a week and let you rebuild the entire HEEP on second though mabe $10000 /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Not a bad idea. We do work at the same place. I think I need to convince him to start taking on more of my workload. Oh, and I need the $10,000 too.

The 304 is a good start and I hope a t176 transmission /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif but the week link is the axels that is the first thing to go
just junk

That 20 rear axle is ok once you get rid the two peice axle shafts. I was standing becide a Scrambler a bud has when those spline let go. It's not a matter of "if" that's going to happen it's a matter of "when". Eveybody I know that has had one of those that wheels has had it happen.

Have fun when you truy to unbolt stuff from the frame. All the blind nuts in those things have a nasty habbit of coming loose.
