wow thats cool,
Is that buggy raced in class 4400?
4400s are prolly the most growing class right now
you can run
SCORE, PPIHC, CHCA, XRRA (old, but new class with WROCK) and im sure others
Tony P. 4485 was 2nd last year at KOH and third I think at the Silver State 300. He has a fast car and I think he just installed a few more ponies before the Glen Helen race.
You can run score but most of the 4400 chassis can't pass tech, and if you can pass tech you can run Class 1, or sportsman. I am sure with a little work you could run TT but why. Many of us want to run the Baja 1000 but that's an expensive race and when you only fit in with really fast guys or the very last guys off the line it sucks.
BITD has really been the most fun of the actual desert races that we do. They have fit us in and made us feel welcome. We still get the Rock Donkey comments but most of them are in a joking manner now.
The big players are BITD, Ultra4/KOH, many of the smaller less known desert race players, Pikes peak in open, CHCA actually has a class for us, Dirt Riot, and still more.
Honestly with the way Hammerking is laying out the race schedule it's hard to even make it to all the hammerking events. I think they are running three different series in 2012, KOH, Vegas to Reno with BITD, and the short course at Miller is one series, then a desert race in New Mexico, and the short course in Glen Helen and theres a third East coast series that I can't remember.
This doesn't even take into the new Stock and Stock Mod classes that Ultra4 is bringing out for 2012
